Some early Chinese gomotorboard, have been criticized because of their general wimpiness. The controllers and batteries were poorly made and had to be replaced often, and expensively.
My Motorboard: We have taken the gomotorboard 2000x and evolved it to its next logical step by improving its shortcomings: We are working on a 18volt and a 24 volt lithium polymer battery pack, and we build and use a totally different controller. (see specs).Some inexpensive scooters suffer from flimsy welds and shoddy construction.
